Healthy jarjums make healthy food choices

This program is aimed at teaching young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children about foods that are good for their bodies, so that they may improve their quality of life through better nutrition. The program is designed to guide and assist educators by presenting suggested activities, lessons and resources.

Indigenous traditional games

Traditional games provide the opportunity to learn about, appreciate and experience aspects of Aboriginal culture. They also provide essential training in social interaction. It is possible to include traditional games in classroom lessons, outdoor education and adventure activities, physical education classes and sport education activities.
